SD4GVP collaborates on two local vigils to commemorate the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. More than 90 gun-violence prevention groups across the country are holding vigils as well. The theme of this 7th annual vigil is “Hope and Remembrance Looking Forward.”
Vigil at Temple Emanu-El
On December 14, SD4GVP joined the Newtown Foundation, Newtown Action Alliance and Temple Emanu-El for the local San Diego vigil. We came together to remember the 700,000-plus Americans killed or injured by guns since Sandy Hook.
